Legal counsel
Attorney review and advice for accountability work, public records, and formal responses.
Our first fundraising goal is finishing a $10,000 attorney retainer, then covering filing fees and related legal costs.
We intend to recognize donors publicly as a thank-you unless someone asks not to be listed. If you prefer to remain anonymous, note that with your donation or contact C.A.R.E.D. directly.
First Goal
Laurel C.A.R.E.D. has already paid $3,000 toward the attorney retainer. The immediate need is the remaining $7,000, followed by filing fees and related legal costs as the work moves forward.
What this supports
Legal counsel helps us review documents, protect the organization, respond carefully to city and state actions, and keep public-facing claims grounded in the record. The retainer is the starting point, not the full cost of the work ahead.
Direct bank donation
Details are coming soon for direct donations to C.A.R.E.D.'s account at Yellowstone Bank. Please wait for confirmed instructions before sending a bank transfer.
